The big black raven as a symbol of the darkness of war days, while the little tit is our hope and a symbol of the purity that we carry through any trials. A flock of ravens acts as an image of the enemy who seeks to darken our present and take away our future.
However, even in great darkness, the author recreates light in the plot of the painting - the power of human willpower, eternal hope and faith in our victory.

A collectible author's painting. I painted it for some reason when it was getting cold outside the window. Probably because they are associated with the arrival of spring and warmth. Or maybe because in these cold and stormy times, storks are far from their Ukrainian nests...
And now they are still on the way!
Flying to warm lands in August-September, they only reach Africa in December, where they winter. But a month later they are preparing to fly again, but already home to Ukraine. By the way, they return to their homeland twice as fast as they fly to a foreign country.
A stork is a symbol of loyalty, happiness, well-being, a living symbol of Ukraine. A stork is a symbol of love for your father and mother, who blessed you into the world, and therefore it is also a symbol of family well-being, love for your native land, the Motherland.
Storks are considered sacred birds because of their loyalty to humans, as they have never harmed people. Our ancestors believed that birds are endowed with human souls, feel the human heart and understand language. They are also famous for their loyalty. If a stork chooses a mate, it is for life. When one of the pair dies, the other goes to certain death. In Christianity, the bird is a symbol of purity and prudence. It is considered divinely chosen and is associated with piety and resurrection.
The sacred duty of this bird is to destroy various pests, such as vipers or frogs. Very symbolic for our present.
And since ancient times there has been such a sign that watching storks dance was a harbinger of joy and luck.
So with my painting I want to wish us a speedy VICTORY!
According to ancient belief, in the fall, birds flew away, taking with them the souls of the deceased and accompanying them to the afterlife. In the spring, returning home, they accompanied the souls of babies who were destined to be born soon.

This painting became for me not only a source in art, but also a spiritual medicine in difficult times.
My painting was born during that difficult period, when the army of invaders was looming near Kiev and we did not yet realize how inhuman they were.
But I felt anxiety and powerlessness eating away at every cell of my body.
These painful thoughts were weighing on me like dark clouds, and I was looking for something that could distract me from reality.
Then, as always, classical music came to the rescue. It always saved me.
The sounds of Camille Saint-Saëns' composition, called "The Dying Swan", seemed to disperse the clouds of doubts and calm my soul.
As always, music helped me find inner peace.
And I felt that I could transfer this musical masterpiece to the canvas. My brushes danced to the indescribable grace of classical music.
Thus was born "Swan Song" - a painting that became a kind of response to those difficult times. It depicts a majestic Swan, who, having folded his wings, is ready to give his life for his Swan. His expression of devotion and immortal love became a symbol of my own faith in strength and invincibility. The painting "Swan Song" became the embodiment of my inner feelings and an echo of a musical masterpiece.
Every line, every color reflects my feelings, fears and hopes. "Swan Song" is my creative response to the challenges of time, which reminds us of the power of art and the inner wisdom that faith in something higher can give.
The interior painting "Swan Song" is my attempt to convey to the world that art can bring light and warmth in the darkest times.
